Senior Controller (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
The ABL-TECHNIC Group is looking for an experienced Senior Controller (m/f/d) to join our team.
In this role, you will take on a key position in the Finance department and make a significant contribution to the operational management of our company.
- Responsibility for monthly reporting, forecasting, and investment controlling for selected locations
- Performing target/actual comparisons, key figure analyses, and ad hoc evaluations to support decision-making
- Close cooperation with local finance departments in the context of monthly and annual financial statements
- Further development and optimization of ERP systems and interfaces (e.g., SAP)
- Expansion and maintenance of the BI system (Qlik Sense) for data-driven control
- Independent management of defined controlling processes, including identification and implementation of best practice solutions to increase efficiency
- Participation in budget planning and cross-departmental projects
- Interface function and sparring partner for internal departments and external stakeholders
Your qualifications
For this demanding position, we are looking for a committed individual with extensive experience in controlling and strong analytical skills.
- Successfully completed degree in business administration or comparable commercial training with further training in controlling
- Several years of professional experience in controlling at a manufacturing company
- In-depth knowledge of reporting, costing, and investment appraisal
- Very good knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Experience with consolidation systems (ideally LucaNet)
- Practical experience with BI tools (preferably Qlik Sense)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Business fluent German and English; other foreign languages are an advantage
- Analytical thinking, structured and solution-oriented approach to work, and a high degree of reliability
- Willingness to travel to a limited extent
